Orange County’s 34th incorporated city was Aliso Viejo where homes were first built in the early 1900s. The city is well known for its clean air, low crime, and beach lifestyle. It is also the home of the Orange County Gladiators which is a part of the American Basketball Association (ABA). Aliso Niguel High School hosts this team’s home games. Notable residents in this city include Kyla Ross, a member of the 2012 Summer Games gymnastics team and Ashley Wagner, a national figure skating champion.
